Why are you, my friend?

I can’t explain why I am your friend

Time is too short for us to part

It seems that every moment we share is just a start

Through pain and joy, you were there

With every prayer

It is hard to see the road ahead

Not knowing where you and I will stand

It is a blessing to have you in my life

But it hurts to wave goodbye like being stabbed by a knife

I am grateful for you

And the memories we’ve made too

I am thankful for everything, your love, and care

For someone like you is so rare

I will never forget

It is not the end yet

Wherever or whenever you will be

You will always be a key

To my heart

Nothing will break us apart

Remember to always have God

He will never leave you nor forsake you

With tears in the end
